Virtual Programs Only for birth through age five until Monday, January 31

Because we love and care for you so much, out of an abundance of caution, we will be holding virtual programs only until the week of January 31.  These are for our programs for those from birth through age five.

You can see all of our previous shows and the new ones on our YouTube channel.  Subscribe so you don't miss a thing!

You can also watch us on

Programs will be held live online at the time we intended them to be in person.  Mondays' Ant and Zucchini will be on Mondays at 10:15 am, Book Babies on Tuesdays at 10:15 am, and so forth.

THANK YOU for your understanding and patience at this hard time.

The library is still open!  Come in or come to our pick-up window for a Letter of the Week sheet and a sticker.

HELD OVER (like the limited sales at a car dealer)!

It has been so much fun being together in person for storytimes!  A huge thank you to all who have attended and had patience with us!  We are VERY excited to say that our in-house programs have been HELD OVER  until the week of December 13!  SEVEN more weeks of in-person fun!

Last Saturday Miss Jill began offering a dedicated live online storytime last week and they will continue, Saturday mornings at 9am here and on YouTube,  She will still be having in-person storytimes at 10:30am on Saturdays, too!

Starting in November, Miss Rebekah and Miss Ing will be offering dedicated live online programs as well!  Times TBA!  Miss Kathy will be online for a STEAM program and more!

By offering online specific and in-person specific programs we feel we can better serve you (um...because we have had some trouble with the tech)!

THANK YOU for your support!  More details coming soon!  Be sure to check the calendar, too!

Thank you for your patience!

We are just kicking off the fall season with the return of some in-house programming and it has been so much fun!  We're still trying to figure out how best to simulcast on Facebook and YouTube!

Alphabet Animals will now be held at 4:30pm instead of 4:15pm so that you don't have to rush as much to get here after school.  You can register here!

Alphabet Animals and Discovery Kid Science will not be shown on-air.  It turns out that these programs don't really lend themselves to that.  Thank you again as we try to figure out how best to serve you!

Check out our fall flyer, and take these changes into account, please.  We are so grateful for you!

See YOU in September!

Programming in the library will resume the week of September 13, 2021!

We can't wait!

Click here to see the flyer!

We know that this remains a time of uncertainty.  For now, we are planning September and October and will adjust as needed to keep you all safe.

At this time, masks are required at the Shaler North Hills Library.

Everyone has a different level of comfort and that is okay!  We will continue to live-stream all of our programming on Facebook and on YouTube on Shaler Library Television.

Some programs will remain online-only at this time.  Check the event calendar for updates which will be coming soon!

As we take off a couple of weeks to prepare for the fall, check out all of our past shows on Shaler Library TV!

THANK YOU for your patience and for being who you are!
